La Crosse, Wis. - University of Wisconsin-La Crosse senior Laura Mead of Andover, Minn. (H.S.) and junior Bria Halama of Independence (H.S.) have been selected to the 2014-15 Capital One Academic All-District Women's Track & Field/Cross Country Team, as voted by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA). Two of 10 selections to this year's all-district team, Mead and Halama now advance to the Capital One Academic All-America Team ballot, where first, second and third-team All-America honorees will be selected in June.
