Canton, N.Y. - The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse women's track & field team is tied for 18th after the first day of competition at the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division III Outdoor Championships. St. Lawrence University (N.Y.) is serving as host of the championships at the Merrick-Pinkar Track & Field Complex. The Eagles have 3.0 team points while Massachusetts Institute of Technology leads after the first day of competition with 15.0 points. Illinois Wesleyan University is in second with 14.0 points and Baldwin Wallace University (Ohio) is third with 12.0. A total of 27 teams scored points Thursday.
