Winneconne, Wis. - The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse women's cross country team placed second at the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division III Midwest Regional Saturday afternoon at Lake Breeze Golf Club. The Eagles finished with 81 team points while Washington University (Mo.) captured the regional title with 66 points. Wiht its first and second-place finishes, Washington (Mo.) and UWL receive automatic bids to the NCAA Division III Championships scheduled for Saturday, November 19 in Louisville, Kentucky.
