Somers, Wis. - The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse women's cross country team opened its 2015 season capturing the 36th Annual UW-Parkside Midwest Open at the Dannehl National Cross Country Course. The Eagles, ranked 13th in the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Top-35 Preseason Poll, finished with 58 team points to win Saturday's meet. UW-Parkside finished second with 76 points and Northwestern University (Ill.) was third with 101. A total of 12 teams competed.
