Mead Places Seventh in 10,000-Meter Run at Drake Relays

Des Moines, Iowa - University of Wisconsin-La Crosse senior Laura Mead placed seventh in the 10,000-meter run Thursday night at the Drake Relays at Drake Stadium. She recorded a lifetime-best time of 35:35.95, which ranks second in UW-La Crosse history. Tori Neubauer holds the school record of 33:25.8 set in 1984.
