Madison, Wis. - University of Wisconsin-La Crosse senior Laura Mead of Andover, Minn. (H.S.) has been selected the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) Women's Cross Country Athlete of the Year while Eagles' head women's and men's cross country coach Derek Stanley has been named the WIAC Women's Cross Country Coach of the Year. The league office announced the awards Thursday.
