Madison, Wis. - Three University of Wisconsin-La Crosse student-athletes have been selected Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) Athletes of the Week, the league office announced Tuesday. Senior Laura Mead of Andover, Minn. (H.S.) has been named the WIAC Women's Cross Country Athlete of the Week while freshman Bridget Bellissimo of Middleton (H.S.) and junior Kimmy Mrozek of Swanville, Minn. (Upsala) have been selected the WIAC Tennis Doubles Team of the Week. It marks the second straight week Bellissimo and Mrozek have earned the honor.
